The Pedigree Welsh Pig Society will be holding their AGM on Sunday December 4th at The International Pavillion, Royal Welsh Showground, Builth wells, Powys.
Formal proceedings will start promptly at 11.30am

With the AGM approaching it is time to reflect on the years’ work and give members an insight into what has taken place. Staff changes have provided The Board with major decisions on the best way to manage the Society. The Administration work is being carried out by Pat Stebbings, who works from home, so the office at Tondu is now closed. The office telephone number remains the same but transfers through to other Directors.....

Despite difficult times in the pig industry with feed prices at an all time high The Pedigree Welsh Pig Society held another highly successful Show and Sale at Beeston Auction near Tarporley, Cheshire at the beginning of September.The Show was held on Friday 2^nd and the Sale was held the following day.

The Bury herd of Pedigree Welsh pigs are enjoying a successful time both in the show ring and as trailblazers for welfare standards.

Qualifiers for the 2011 Pedigree Welsh Champion of Champions competition have been confirmed.  Final to be held at Beeston on Friday 2 September 2011.

The BPA has extended the deadline for submission of 2011 breed surveys to 13 February 2011.  Why is this information so important?
